Have you always wanted to become a
co-driver, but never known how?
Dirtfish & OzRallyPro can help!!
Becoming a rally co-driver seems so far out of reach for many, but with the Dirtfish OzRallyPro Co-driver Development Program, which over 100 students have taken, we have many new co-drivers heading out to the stages.
Professional co-drivers Alex & Rhianon Gelsomino & Michelle Miller, will lead this all-inclusive training, along with support from experienced DirtFish instructors Nate Tennis, Eric Schofhauser & Jack Harrison. The program will cover everything you need to develop into a confident co-driver.
The focus of this course is practical application. You will leave this class with the skills and confidence to participate in your first rally or develop the skills you already have acquired from participating in events previously. The course will begin in the classroom, then transition to recce, where you will learn the important tasks of being a co-driver, along with the techniques for writing pacenotes. The program then moves to the rally cars, driven by rally-seasoned DirtFish instructors, where you will deliver pacenotes at speed.
The classroom sessions will cover general/championship rally rules, supplemental regulations, service schedules, creating a recce schedule, working with maps, road books, GPS, time controls and handling timecards, pacenotes overview & recce video and onboard analysis. The practical sessions will cover on\ stage recce training, methods for writing pacenotes, handling transits and time controls & calling pacenotes at speed.
Take that leap now and make your dream a reality. Rally is truly a family and everyone will be willing to help you along the way.
