COVID-19 Updates

May 22nd, 2020

Dear DirtFish Community,

Today we are excited to announce that DirtFish will be re-opening our doors.  After over two months of closure from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to provide a safe and fun outlet for our customers to enjoy after doing their part in stopping the spread by staying home.

Under strict compliance with the Washington State guidance issued for motorsports facilities allowing us to open on May 15th, we will move forward with operating our first driving program on May 25th.  The same great DirtFish Rally School programs you know and love will be available starting on this date.

That said, this first phase of our reopening will come with some key changes to our operating procedures.  The entire DirtFish team has adapted our protocols to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. This includes the requirement of social distancing and mandatory face coverings when social distancing is not possible to ensure everyone’s safety.  We will also be limiting access to the DirtFish property. Only registered customers will be allowed to ensure the least amount of exposure risk.  For a complete list of our operating procedures which are all in compliance with CDC recommendations and Washington State issued orders, please visit our COVID-19 procedures document on the COVID-19 response page.

Washington State is projecting the transition to Phase 2 of the statewide reopening plan by Monday, June 1st. When the state moves into Phase 2, we will further open up our facilities to the public so long as all of our company-wide COVID-19 policies, along with all state orders are followed.

The weather here in Washington is starting to get better and better and we understand that you all have been doing your part and staying home, so we invite you to come reward yourself with some rally driving in a safe environment here at DirtFish!

Rally on!

Best,

DirtFish Team

Stay Safe and follow the guidelines from the CDC and your local governments.

On Friday, May 1st, Washington State, USA extended the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order beyond May 4th, 2020. The date that the new order will be lifted is not yet clear, but DirtFish is working with local government partners to continue to comply with the order’s intention while also trying to re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.

Below is the chart Washington State is using for the phased re-opening. It has been outlined that a minimum of three weeks is required between each phase of re-opening. Phase 1 begins tomorrow, May 5th, 2020.

Based on the phases listed above, we believe that DirtFish will have the ability to re-open the rally school with modified programs in Phase 2.  We are in the process of finalizing detailed operational procedures to comply with CDC and state guidelines for social distancing and PPE so that when we are able to open our doors, we can provide the safest environment possible for our customers and team members.

More to come soon and thank you for sticking with us during these unprecedented times.

Stay Safe and follow the guidelines from the CDC and your local governments.

The COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread across the world. In Washington State, our Governor, Jay Inslee is taking additional proactive measures to stop the spread of this virus. On Monday, March 23rd they issued a “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order which requires the closure of all non-essential businesses through Wednesday, April 8th.

Because of this statewide order, DirtFish Rally School is now temporarily closed to the public and we have rescheduled all rally driving programs on the calendar from today until April 10th.

We remain committed to prioritizing the health and safety of our customers and team members. During this closure, we continue to follow all recommendations from the CDC for sanitization and cleanliness at the DirtFish headquarters. Once the order is lifted, we will resume rally school operations and start running our amazing programs again!
