DirtFish has some legendary cars!

2001 Ford Focus RS WRC

(RS stands for Ralle Sport, WRC stands for World Rally Car)

History: This Focus was built for the Ford World Rally team by Ford and M-Sport. Colin McRae was the only one to ever drive this car – it was never used for anything else other than the 4 WRC events Colin drove it in. In the 2001 Corsica Rally, Colin failed to navigate a right hand bend at high speed and went off into a tree, totaling the car and breaking his hand in the process. This Focus stayed at M-Sport for years, damaged and un-repaired. Eventually, it was decided they would tear it apart, rebuild it back to specifications and fully restore it. Because of Colin’s popularity, this is a very famous car and it is very original.

Richard Burns Subaru Impreza WRC99

Model: Subaru Impreza WRC99-The last GC8 WRC built by Prodrive

(WRC stands for World Rally Car, 99 stands for 1999, GC8 is the chassis designation)

History: This car was built by Prodrive for Richard Burns and gifted to him as a “congrats and thanks” for winning the 2001 WRC Championship, where it became part of his estate and collection of cars. Richard had the car for approximately 2 years before he passed away after a brave battle with brain cancer. This car is brand new and has never seen a real rally stage.

1980 Eaton Yale Ford Escort Mark II

History: This vehicle is a purpose built replica rally car modeled after the 1978 RAC Rally winner. This car was used for 2 training days in 2007. In 2008, it was used in the Colin McRae Memorial Rally driven by WRC driver and Gymkhana start, Ken Block. Unfortunately on the 2nd run during shakedown Ken rolled the car. The vehicle was repaired and did manage to compete in the rally. In February 2009 (the 40th Anniversary of the Ford Escort) the Mark II Escort driven by Hannu Mikkola and Bjorn Waldegard at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This was history reminisced as Mikkola (4 time RAC winner) and Waldegard were top WRC drivers for Ford during the time of domination of the RAC Rally by the MK II Escort.

Ford RS200 Evolution S

History: For years, many people were baffled when they opened up the Guinness Book of Records and discovered that the world’s fastest accelerating car was a none other than a Ford – and a curiously small, almost goofy looking one which looked like nothing made on American soil. That’s because the RS200 was a homologation special produced by Ford of Great Britain. It was specifically designed as Ford’s first four wheel drive contender for the radical Group B class rally racing. Not only is this one of only 200 RS200s ever built… it is one of just two RS200 Evo S cars in the world.

Hall of Flame

As you walk down the halls of DirtFish to your classroom, you will pass through the Hall of Flame. We have fire suits from Sebastien Loeb, David Higgins, Travis Pastrana, Richard Burns, Mark Higgins, Patrik Sandell and many other racing legends from various different disciplines! Please stop in and take some time to read the names of inspiring racecar drivers who wore these suits.

The Old Mill

Our DirtFish property began its life as the Snoqualmie Falls Lumber Company. We are very proud of our lands heritage and the community it served. These are actual images of what the mill site looked like back in the day! Many of the buildings pictured are still standing today, including the infamous original smoke stack.

Autograph Wall

Since its inception, DirtFish has become the go to destination for many drivers, from beginners to professionals! The skills and techniques you learn at DirtFish can be beneficial in absolutely any motorsport. On our wall, you will find the autographs of drivers from nearly every discipline – Indy to drifters, off-road truckers to autocross, and rallycross to stage rally drivers.
